Some of you may already noticed that dotted around the trees on the common are many birdboxes put up in March to encourage more birds to nest.

In particular, there are three close to the bus stop, so if whilst people are waiting for the bus look in to the common and spot the three boxes in the trees.

Birds take a little while to get used to their new homes, but if you see any bird life taking up residence please let us know!

The boxes were made by young people in the village last year (see picture gallery)
