Strange Goings On It the Allotments in Trowse


You may not know it, but Trowse has its very own crime wave. Despite usually being quite a safe place, lots of things over the last few months suggest all is not what it should be. Security for our allotments or home security is probably the last thing most of us think about. Maybe it's time for that to change?

So far, I have had two spades, one fork, one rake and a wheelbarrow taken from the allotment. Also, two different caravans have had their tyres slashed by someone with a cross-headed screwdriver.

Also, someone's bike was stolen from their yard in Russell Terrace.

So, the message is be vigilent and make sure anything you leave around is locked up safely.

If you see anything suspicious, report it to the police or let me know and I shall pass it on.

One of the unusual things is also something happened in reverse. A bucket of nails containing a bunch of keys and a tape measure turned up on the allotment. So, if you have lost these, please get in touch.

Remember, Trowse is wonderful place to live so don't have nightmares.
